Job Description

We’re  Berry Bite , a small indie studio making  Humblets , a cozy game set in a fantasy world. We’re now looking for a 3D Artist  to join us on a short-term contract. If you love modeling characters, animals, and whimsical creatures, this could be a great fit for you!

✨ What You’ll Do:

• Create 3D assets based on concept art (characters, animals & creatures).
• Model, unwrap, rig, and texture assets with clean deformation for animations.
• Create assets optimized for video game performance.
• Iterate based on feedback and deliver polished, game-ready assets.

 

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong portfolio showcasing relevant 3D work, ideally for video games.
• Experience working on stylized assets.
• Strong proficiency with modeling and texturing tools (e.g. Blender, Substance, Photoshop)
• Solid understanding of real-time 3D asset creation workflows, including polycount optimization, texture efficiency, and clean topology for animation and performance.
• Ability to work from concepts, translating designs into final models.
• Comfortable collaborating closely with a small team
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Hours:  Full-time, 40 hrs/week
• Contract Duration:  Approximately 4-5 months
• Location:  Remote
