Location: Must live in the Austin, Texas Area (Remote work from home) 
Schedule: Part-Time (20–25 hours/week)

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our finance operations. This remote role is ideal for an experienced professional who is highly proficient in QuickBooks Online and has working knowledge of payroll systems such as Rippling . The candidate will manage weekly invoicing and oversee multiple projects with varying invoicing structures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online

• Timesheet tracking and management 

• Manage weekly client invoicing , ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Track and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable

• Support payroll processing and employee reimbursements via Rippling

• Coordinate with project managers to ensure correct billing processes across multiple active projects

• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with cash flow tracking

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

• Maintain organized financial documentation and assist with audit preparation, as needed
  
   

Qualifications:

 

• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, including project-based billing

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required)

• Familiarity with Rippling or similar payroll platforms

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

• Experience managing multiple projects and invoicing workflows

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Strong communication skills and professional integrity
