Job Description

Location: Bryant Park, Manhattan (Remote & On-Site Hybrid) 

Job Type: Part-Time (3 days per week; on-site required, 20-25hours per week)

We are a dynamic restaurant and bakery located in the heart of Manhattan’s Bryant Park, offering an exceptional dining experience focusing on quality food and beverages. We seek a detail-oriented and experienced **Bookkeeper - Accounts Payable** to join our team. 

Key Responsibilities
  1. Marketman Management & Pricing
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date prices for all food and beverage items in  Marketman (ERP system) .
  • Manage the  item database in Marketman, ensuring products, suppliers, and categories are organized and current.
  • Conduct  weekly bid sheets comparing supplier prices across key products.
  • Level bids and adjust ordering selections weekly in Marketman to secure  best possible pricing .
  • Monitor price fluctuations and update cost data to ensure consistency between Marketman and QuickBooks.
  • Generate  weekly reports on cost changes, supplier performance, and purchasing efficiency.
  1. Supplier & Accounts Payable Management
  • Reconcile supplier statements to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
  • Address discrepancies, open invoices, and coordinate payments with vendors.
  • Manage the  full Accounts Payable cycle through QuickBooks Online.
  1. Accounting & Reporting
  • Export approved invoices from Marketman to  QuickBooks Online for accurate financial tracking.
  • Prepare payment summaries aligned with due dates and company cash flow.
  • Scan, file, and organize all invoices for compliance and audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with management to produce weekly and monthly purchasing and cost reports.
  • Requirements
  • - Must reside in the NYC area
  • - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Bookkeeping. 
  • - Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is mandatory. 
  • - Knowledge of Marketman is a plus but not required. 
  • - Fluent English (written and spoken). 
  • - Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills. 
  • Compensation
  • - Hourly rate: **$20 - $25**, based on experience.

  • - The position can potentially transition into a full-time role in the future.
