We're Hiring: Administrative Assistant (Cardiology)!
We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Admin Assistant for a busy Cardiology Office in Towson, MD. This back-office role supports a team of 6-8 providers and requires experience in healthcare administration, specifically related to procedure scheduling. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Role: Administrative Assistant (Cardiology)
Key Responsibilities
Procedure Scheduling: Schedule medical procedures, consultations, and follow-ups for patients.
Patient Communication: Provide procedure prep instructions to patients, direct questions to nurses and providers, and send relevant procedure information.
Inbound/Outbound Calls: Handle both inbound and outbound calls in a professional and timely manner, addressing patient inquiries and assisting with scheduling.
Record Management: Update and maintain patient records to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.
Office Coordination: Assist with office flow, ensuring appointments and procedures are properly scheduled and managed.
Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, providers, and office managers to ensure patient care needs are met efficiently.
High-Volume Environment: Remain composed under pressure, especially during busy times, to maintain smooth office operations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a healthcare environment, specifically in procedure scheduling.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage high call volumes and work efficiently under pressure.
Proficient with scheduling systems and office software. EPIC Required
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
