The Architect/ Sr. Python/AI Developer is a delivery-focused technology specialist, acting as a trusted advisor to clients. The role is accountable for designing and developing scalable Python and AI-driven applications, with a focus on Generative AI, LLMs, and modern frameworks for AI agents. This position is responsible for building robust solutions, supporting client business needs, and ensuring best practices across development, testing, and deployment. The Sr. Python/AI Developer will work directly with customers, delivery teams, and stakeholders to create innovative AI enabled applications. The role also contributes to Insight’s intellectual property development and may participate in presales activities as a subject matter expert. 

• Design and develop scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and maintainable Python applications.

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.

• Work closely with clients and team members to capture end-user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Implement security and data protection solutions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

• Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting enhancements to architecture, frameworks, and tooling.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly around Generative AI, LLMs, and AI agents.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Python Developer, with hands-on exposure to Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Python and its frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
• Strong experience with Generative AI platforms including Azure OpenAI, Gemini, and Amazon Bedrock.
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks such as Autodev and Crew.
• Solid understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
• Skilled in Python linting and formatting tools: Pylint, Flake8, Black, and MyPy.
• Experienced with Python testing libraries: PyTest and Tox.
• Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into a unified system.
• Understanding of Python’s multi-process architecture and threading limitations.
• Working knowledge of additional programming languages such as PySpark and SQL.
• Front-End & Visualization

• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• At least 1 year of experience building Power BI models and dashboards, with a strong grasp of DAX and visualization best practices.
