POSITION SUMMARY 

Nurp is seeking an  AI-focused Content & SEO Optimization Specialist to lead our visibility strategy across both traditional search engines and next-gen AI-powered platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and Grok.

This is  not a traditional SEO role. We’re looking for a  hybrid thinker —someone who understands both search and AI discovery engines, and can demonstrate strategies for:

• Building  topical authority across semantically linked content clusters.

• Applying  Google’s EEAT (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trust) to boost credibility.

• Structuring and prompting content to increase citations by AI models in generative search results.

The right candidate will combine  classic SEO principles with  cutting-edge Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)  techniques to attract, engage, and convert high-intent audiences wherever they search for answers—whether that’s Google or AI-native environments.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

• Lead content structuring and visibility strategies across Google and AI-native platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.).

• Align organic strategy with broader marketing efforts, including paid campaigns and nurture flows.

• Analyze AI visibility, prompt-trigger performance, and SERP positioning to guide ongoing strategy.

• Collaborate with product, compliance, and content teams to ensure accurate, compelling, and compliant messaging.

• Track and test brand citations in AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Poe) and refine strategies to improve inclusion.

• Optimize content around prompt-friendly queries (questions, intent) as well as keywords.

• Build topical clusters and SME-authored content to position Nurp as a trusted source in fintech.

• Create long-form articles, comprehensive guides, FAQ-driven content, and schema markup for AI + SEO indexing.

• Conduct keyword + prompt research to identify dual-ranking opportunities across search and AI engines.

• Apply AEO and NLP techniques to craft content optimized for generative AI results.

• Perform other related duties as necessary or aligned.

• Proven ability to optimize content for AI search visibility and answer engines.
• Ability to create and write blogs, articles, long-form content, short-form content, comprehensive guides, FAQ-driven content, and schema markup for AI + SEO indexing.
• Deep understanding of NLP, prompt engineering, and AI-based search dynamics.
• Fluency with both technical SEO and modern content strategy principles.
• Experience with tools like Surfer SEO, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and AI content visibility dashboards.
• Analytical mindset; strong with data interpretation and iterative improvement.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and translate technical insights into clear actions.
• Highly adaptable to evolving trends in AI, search, and user discovery behavior.
• Develop KPI's for AI metrics beyond SERP rankings.
• Proficient with AI monitoring tools (e.g., BrightEdge DataMind, SearchAtlas, or emerging AEO platforms).
• Experience with structured data beyond schema markup (JSON-LD, entity markup).
• Familiarity with AI content detection tools and maintaining human authenticity signals.
• Experience with headless CMS and API-driven content management for scalable page generation.
• Knowledge of technical SEO at scale (crawl budget management, site architecture for large page volumes).
• Knowledge of social media SEO (LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok) as additional discovery channels.
• Experience with video SEO optimization.
• Ability to develop and execute programmatic SEO strategies to create thousands of optimized pages targeting trading-related long-tail keywords.
• Skilled in using automation tools and data-driven templates to scale content around market-specific queries, regulatory topics, and location-based trading information.
• Familiarity with programmatic SEO platforms and workflow automation (Airtable, Webflow, no-code tools).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Proven ability to optimize content for AI search visibility and answer engines.

• Strategic understanding of the shift from traditional SEO to AI-influenced discovery.

• Deep knowledge of NLP, prompt engineering, EEAT, and topical authority building.

• Hands-on expertise with AI-visibility and semantic optimization tools:SurferSEO, Clearscope, or MarketMuse – for coverage and scoring.Perplexity, Poe, AlsoAsked, or AnswerThePublic – for prompt research and AI result testing.

• Fluency with technical SEO and modern content strategy principles.

• Strong analytical mindset and adaptability to evolving AI search trends.
