**Job Title: Ammonia Refrigeration Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Technician who will be responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs to equipment to ensure production uptime, and conducting boiler and refrigeration checks. This role involves equipment overhauls, updating, and troubleshooting, with elements of electrical, welding, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair work. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. **Responsibilities** + Conduct preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment. + Perform repairs to ensure production uptime. + Conduct regular boiler and refrigeration checks. + Overhaul and update equipment as necessary. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical, welding, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. + Complete all other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Background in Ammonia Refrigeration. + 3+ years' experience in a mechanical capacity, including installation, troubleshooting, and equipment repair. + Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, plumbing, and PLCs. + Ability to stand for 10 hours per day. + Capability to frequently bend, lift, and twist. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + A MN State Specialist Class Boilers license or higher is preferred. + Ammonia refrigeration and preventive maintenance experience is a plus. + Ability to function both independently and in a team-oriented environment. + Display a positive attitude and teamwork skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned and operated company that values its employees. We have proudly paid bonuses every year for the last 30 years. **Work Environment** The work environment includes high noise levels, varied temperatures from warm to cold, slippery floors, moving equipment, and dust. The role requires wearing appropriate PPE and other necessary equipment. The position operates on a rotating schedule with shifts either from Monday to Wednesday and rotating weekends, or Wednesday to Friday and rotating weekends.
