• Specialty Backup Available: Faculty anesthesiologists and clinical director always available

• CRNA and AA mid-level support (supervision expected)

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• General Anesthesia, Intubation, IV Placement, Spinal, Arterial & Central Line (Epidural for post-op pain is rare)
  
• Non-OR: Interventional radiology, electrophysiology, endoscopy

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active VT license or IMLC
• Board: BC/BE in Anesthesiology (if BE, boards must be taken within 7 years of residency)
• DEA: Active DEA Certification
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS preferred
• Experience: Fellowship not required; experience accepted
• Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Epic EMR; ability to work independently and with CRNA/AA supervision

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer general anesthesia for OR and non-OR procedures
• Perform intubations, line placements (arterial, central), and IVs
• Supervise CRNAs and AAs
• Optional: Participate in resident didactic lectures
• Collaborate in a collegial, team-oriented environment
