Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a full-time Anesthesiologist, with experience in Obstetrics Anesthesiology, to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a modern healthcare campus serving South Brooklyn and beyond. Anchored by the 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital, it features an expanded Emergency Department for adult and pediatric trauma care, state-of-the-art surgical suites with robotic technology for precision and faster recovery, and private inpatient rooms. Specialized services include a Certified Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Center, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, diagnostic and interventional cardiology and radiology, and a modern endoscopy suite. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine.
You will join a united, well-organized, and friendly Department of Anesthesiology with solid and engaged leadership, exceptional interpersonal dynamics, high morale, excellent employee satisfaction, and a team approach to problem-solving and emergency response. We practice an expanded Anesthesia Care model, taking a leadership role in navigating the perioperative process, in close friendly collaboration with surgeons and nursing staff. Our Department is equipped with all required modern equipment for the safest practice of Anesthesia, including Video-Laryngoscopy, 2 SonoSite Ultrasound Machines for Vascular Cannulation and Regional Anesthesia, 2 Ambu FOB Systems with disposal scopes used in Thoracic Anesthesia and Difficult Airway management, FloTrack System for intraoperative hemodynamic management, and AccuView vein finding system.

Annual Base Salary: $421,000* (board eligible); $431,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $600,000** (board eligible) and $610,000** (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, fringe benefits, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
