Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – 2025–2026 School Year – In-Person

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a passionate, student-focused Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2025–2026 school year.

Position Details

• Schedule: Full-Time

• Location: In-person, serving an elementary school

• Start Date: ASAP

• Service Area: Behavior intervention, coaching, and staff support — no supervision of RBTs

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement functional behavior intervention plans aligned with student IEPs

• Create safety plans for students exhibiting aggressive or self-injurious behaviors

• Provide teachers with effective data collection systems for all behavior goals

• Coach, intervene, and support staff and students to promote positive outcomes

• Collaborate with Special Services Directors and school teams to set academic targets/goals

• Communicate regularly with district teams and provide progress updates

What We’re Looking For

• Active Illinois BCBA license

• Proven experience in behavior assessment and intervention planning

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to supporting students with diverse needs in an educational setting
