Job Description

DMG Worldwide is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our Accounting Department. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, the ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our clients with essential bookkeeping services. This includes monthly write-ups, reconciliations, A/P, A/R, G/L management, financial reporting, and special projects. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Generate and review Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets Produce accurate and timely monthly financial reports Handle Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) Manage General Ledger (G/L) for client accounts Assist with sales tax filings and other tax-related compliance Respond promptly to client requests and deliver ad hoc reports Support specialized accounting projects as needed Qualifications & Skills: 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience or Associate’s degree in Accounting (Bachelor’s preferred) Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel Highly organized with excellent decision-making and time management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts Demonstrated understanding of business operations and financial health Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to pass a background check and bookkeeping/QuickBooks proficiency test Must be resourceful, proactive, and a fast learner with new software
