This is a remote position.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Remote Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced with accounting software, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
Process invoices, payments, and payroll (if applicable)
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and financial regulations
Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members regarding financial matters
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and financial regulations
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks remotely
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
