Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis. This position offers flexibility in hours and remote work opportunities but requires candidates to be local to San Jose, California. Responsibilities: - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness. - Handle payroll activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines. - Maintain financial records and bookkeeping tasks to support the company's operations. - Assist the sales team with administrative duties, including vendor onboarding and management. - Create and process purchase orders as part of sales support functions. - Collaborate closely with vendors to ensure smooth transactions and relationships. - Provide general administrative assistance to the team as needed. - Support the sales team with day-to-day operational needs, ensuring efficiency and organization. Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. - Familiarity with payroll processes and relevant compliance requirements. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling financial tasks. - Ability to manage vendor relationships and onboarding processes. - Proficiency in creating and processing purchase orders. - Previous experience in providing administrative and sales support is preferred. - Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration. - Must be local to San Jose, California, and available for flexible working hours.
