Job Description

Description We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis. If you are skilled in QuickBooks Online and have a keen eye for detail, this role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to an organized and efficient financial system. Responsibilities: - Reconcile six months of financial transactions using QuickBooks Online. - Utilize check image software to accurately match transactions and payments. - Ensure all financial records are complete, accurate, and adhere to company standards. - Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data to maintain integrity. - Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive financial information. - Provide timely updates on progress and ensure deadlines are met. - Collaborate effectively in a remote environment to ensure smooth project execution. Requirements - Proven bookkeeping experience, with advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online. - Familiarity with check image software or similar tools for transaction reconciliation. - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. - Reliable internet connection and access to necessary technology for remote work. - Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processes. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general data entry tasks. - Understanding of month-end close procedures and financial compliance standards.
