Position: Café Manager

Location: Feine Coffee Roasters

Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Owner

Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Café Manager to lead daily operations, inspire our team, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role involves managing schedules, overseeing inventory, training staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day café operations.
• Hire, train, and manage baristas and staff.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Manage inventory, vendor relations, and supply orders.
• Monitor daily expenses and revenues.
• Develop seasonal menu updates based on trends and customer preferences.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Health and food safety standards.
• Resolve customer concerns and support the team as “Manager on Duty” when needed.
• Build positive relationships with guests to boost loyalty and community engagement.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of café/coffee shop management required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with coffee preparation and equipment.
• Proficiency with Google Suite; experience with Square or scheduling tools a plus.
• Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and ability to multitask.

Schedule:

• Early mornings, weekends, and occasional evenings required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 30 lbs.
• Perform bending, stooping, and other active movements as needed.
