Job Description

Total Turf is currently seeking a skilled and reliable dump truck driver to join our team. The driver will be responsible for transporting materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, or construction debris to and from various job sites. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of safety regulations, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate a dump truck efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials to designated locations.
• Inspect and maintain the truck before and after trips, ensuring proper functioning.
• Follow assigned routes and adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Load and unload materials while ensuring even distribution for safe transportation.
• Communicate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate deliveries.
• Keep accurate logs of trips, mileage and maintenance records.
• Perform minor truck repairs and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Adhere to weight and loading regulations to prevent overloading.
