Certified Nurse Midwife | Lynchburg, Virginia Introduction to the Role and Practice Join the largest independent, self-governed midwifery group! CMG is seeking to add a Certified Nurse-Midwife to our CNM-governed practice located in central Virginia. The CMG Women's Center is a highly successful hospital-owned full-scope midwifery practice serving a diverse population. Services include reproductive and wellness care for women and non-binary individuals, including pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. Births are attended at Centra's Virginia Baptist Hospital, a Baby-Friendly, Magnet Certified facility with supportive in-house consulting physicians, anesthesia and a Level II NICU. Our new expansion includes laborist services at the Magnet Certified Southside Community Hospital, our sister hospital in Farmville, VA.
Experience with or be willing to learn 1st assist for cesarean birth, circumcisions, IUD/Nexplanon insertion and Group Prenatal Care. CMG Women's Center is committed to diversity and inclusion and strongly encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences to apply.
You Can Expect - Schedule 3/12 hour shifts

Required Qualifications - Must be willing to relocate to the Lynchburg region
- Be licensed in Virginia or eligible
- Minimum 2 years of practice
- If you have not practiced, you must be willing to do a 9-month mandatory fellowship
