Job Description

The Middle Wellness is looking for a Clinical Assistant (CA) to be involved directly with chronic pain sufferers' healing process. This person will assist the Practitioner during treatment visits (writing notes, moving clients' bodies and performing examination procedures) as well as taking on an administrative role (client communication, booking and payments).

Must be available Monday through Thursday

Secondary bonus experience as a bonus that can potentially create a higher income for candidate:

? networking, content creation (blogs, graphics, or videos) social media, copywriting

Work Duties:

? Maintain professional appearance of self and the treatment rooms/lobby.

? Supports clients with friendly, upbeat bedside manner

? Ability to move client's bodies, requiring a baseline level of fitness.

? Develop baseline understanding of assessing a client's pain before the Provider comes into the room by asking questions.

? Writes legibly and comprehensively.

? Perform consultations and examination procedures and use critical thinking to help determine which tests need to be done.

? Handles administrative duties such as scheduling, client communications, payments, invoices, etc.

? Maintains organization with clients files

Pay/Incentives:

? Probationary Pay: Probationary period of one month at a rate of $17/hour.

? Level 1: After the primary responsibilities are met at or before one month, pay will increase to

$19/hour.

? Level 2: When CA is meeting all responsibilities at around the three month mark, pay will

increase to $21/hour.

? Further increases in pay will come with CA expertise in handling consultations, examining, and caring for patients.

? Should the CA want greater responsibilities after doing an A-grade job, a Full-Time opportunity may come available based on the Clinical Assistant's proactivity in taking on other tasks. A 401k, health insurance, and paid vacation time will be discussed after one year of employment at the Full-Time level. There are financial incentives for other responsibilities as well.
