Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to work as a Clinical Nutrition Manager 2 for St. David's Heart Hospital of Austin, TX . A 72-bed facility, Hearth Hospital is one of the highest-performing cardiovascular facilities in the nation, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. It features a comprehensive 24-hour emergency department; an advanced Executive Wellness Program; an Advanced Heart Failure Program, including two key therapies—extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and left ventricular assist device (LVAD).

What You'll Do

The successful candidate will:

• Lead the clinical nutrition program toward maintained excellence
• Ensure that policies and procedures are in place and maintained in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as Sodexo and client needs
• Foster a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional development
• Proactively seek out and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders including hospital leaders and physicians
• Drive performance improvement and quality management projects as needed
• Provide nutrition care to a variety of inpatients or outpatients as needed, including the Executive Wellness Program
• Precept dietetic interns and oversee clinical rotations, as needed

• Display excellent communication, servant leadership and authentic customer service skills
• Possess experience or learning capacity for regulatory accreditation, regulatory readiness and review, and establishing and maintaining standards of care
• Licensed in Texas

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
