**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** Rotating Shift **Description:** **Job Title:** Clinical Registered Dietitian - PRN (Will be scheduled to work as needed) **Employment Type:** PRN **Shift:** Rotating **(SUMMARY) Position Highlights:** + **Competitive salary** + **Benefits - Non-Benefited Position** + **Quality of Life:** Flexible work schedules + **Advancement:** Career growth opportunities + **Location:** Holy Cross Health has two hospitals and four healthcare centers all a short driving distance from Washington DC and Baltimore, MD **Description:** + **PRN (Will be scheduled to work as needed) - Non-Benefited** + Location: Silver Spring, MD + Food Services Department + This position reports to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, Food Services Director **Responsibilities:** + Manages nutrition assessment and medical nutrition therapy using the nutrition care process that encompasses the scope and timeliness of nutrition care delivery to hospitalized patients. + Flexible schedule. + Provides nutrition expertise to physicians and other health professionals. + Participates in activities that encompasses interdisciplinary care, Performance Improvement, promotion of health and/or or provision of nutrition education for the patients, family, staff, and community. **What you will need:** **Required:** + Bachelor's degree, master's degree, or verification statement from the American Dietetic Association confirming completion of DPD (Didactic Program in Dietetics) Requirements. + Licensed in the state of Maryland. (Includes 15 credit hours every year of continuing education). + Active registration status with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. (Includes 75 credit hours every 5 years of continuing education). + Displays strong communication skills and ability to interact in a positive manner with physicians, patients, and families and other hospital staff. + Demonstrates the ability to handle confidential information and situations. + Experience in hospital clinical dietetics, preferred. **Pay Range: $29.86 - $43.34** Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
