Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Little Angeles, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients. You will assist in daily patient care activities under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and medical providers. Responsibilities include supporting patients with activities of daily living, maintaining patient hygiene, recording vital signs, and assisting in clinical tasks such as medical documentation and patient preparation. You will also ensure a safe and comforting environment for children, while effectively communicating with families and the healthcare team to support patient care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for giving medications and feedings under supervision of RN.
  
• Responsible for daily hygiene such as diaper changing, towel bath, skincare, etc.
  
• Responsible for assisting and supervising children during transportation.
  
• Thorough reporting from the parent, and communicating with the center nursing staff.
  
• Ensuring patient safety while children/infants play in associated care rooms.
  
• Monitoring patient interaction and toleration of daily activities.
  
• Responsible for meal prepping, laundry and light cleaning duties.
  
• Must be willing to participate in daycare activities with the children.
  

Requirements

• Current, active, CNA license.
  
• Current CPR certification
  
• Must be familiar with EMR documentation.
  
• Pediatric experience preferred.
  
• Candidates must be available for variable shifts.
  
• Candidates will work in the East Orlando or Longwood location
