Put your passion, drive and expertise to work with the world's cloud security leader. We're looking for a talented and business-oriented **Commercial Counsel** to join our Legal team. Reporting to the Senior Legal Director, you will be responsible for: + Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS Subscription Agreements, Master Services and/or Purchase Agreements, Hosted Services Agreements + Negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), Information Security Addendums, and similar agreements directly with customers and partners + Improving and maintaining commercial agreement templates, contract negotiation playbooks, and legal processes to support global scaling + Partnering closely with internal teams-including Sales, Finance, Deal Desk, and Business Development-to efficiently execute contract negotiations + Advising internal teams to balance business interests with mitigating risk and aligning with applicable laws and policies **What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)** + Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and active admission to a State Bar + 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts at a leading law firm, in-house, or preferably a combination thereof + Demonstrated expertise in commercial transactions within the technology and SaaS space, especially supporting Sales teams + Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations such as CCPA and GDPR, and experience drafting and negotiating related terms + Flexibility and ability to thrive in dynamic, deadline-driven environments + Organized, results-driven, and client-focused team player **What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)** + In-house legal experience at a publicly-traded SaaS company + Experience working with large, multinational customers across industries such as health, financial services, and insurance + Familiarity with contract management systems and legal project management tools \#LI-Remote \#LI-RL2 Zscaler's salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
