Construction Superintendent - Commercial GC - Base Salary to 150k/year - Goldens Bridge, NY

• Our client is a commercial GC that is based out of Westchester County, NY and works throughout the Tri-state area. They are in the market for a Construction Superintendent as they enter the busy season and looking for someone with solid commercial construction experience. Their projects range from Healthcare, to interiors to Science and Technology.

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling and management of all subcontracted trades/project work
• Assist Project Manager with the set-up of temporary project facilities and utilities
• Establish and maintain contact with appropriate city officials and inspectors
• Scheduling and management of all self-performed field and project work
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors & Handle problems with subcontractors
• Adherence to all job site rules and regulations
• Work closely with all departments to maintain continuity of normal workflow
• Ensure that all jobs are constructed to contract, specification and detail
• Walk site to determine construction status and assure quality control
• Consistently utilize project software tools and Share Point Field folder
• Daily field reports and photos to PE and team
• Prepare punch-list audit for each job and ensure that all punch-list items have been completed prior to occupancy
• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Supervise subcontractors and labor teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA) and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, changes, and communications.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years as a General Contractor Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, scopes and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 110k - 150k/year range
• Company Benefits and PTO
