Job Description This shift would either be Full Time, Thursday through Monday, or Part-Time, Tuesday through Friday, both afternoon shifts available. Our cooks prepare high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations, as well as company standards. To be a successful cook, you will be quick and diligent and be able to follow instruction and work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
  • Assists in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets with the ability to perform these error-free and meet the company quality standards
  • Prepares and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner
Qualifications
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar position.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of special diets, meal preparation for large groups preferred
  • Safe food handling techniques are required
  • Ability to read and understand recipes
  • Work in a team environment
  • Work flexible shifts
  • Handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing.
