Job Title: Crane & MHE Inspector (OSHA Certified) 
Location: Kosovo, Bulgaria, Romania  

Job Summary  

ITBM is seeking a qualified and experienced Crane Inspector with OSHA certification to perform load tests, inspections, and certifications of our Material Handling Equipment (MHE) fleet , including cranes, forklifts, container handlers, auto lifts, slings, and manlifts. The role is critical in ensuring compliance with OSHA standards , manufacturer requirements, and local regulations, while maintaining the highest safety and operational standards across multiple sites.  

Key Responsibilities  

  • Perform OSHA-compliant inspections and load tests on cranes, forklifts, container handlers, auto lifts, slings, manlifts, and other lifting equipment.  

  • Issue certification and compliance reports for all inspected equipment.  

  • Identify and document safety hazards, defects, or non-compliance issues, and recommend corrective actions.  

  • Ensure proper functioning of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on MHE and cranes.  

  • Maintain detailed inspection records for audit and regulatory compliance .  

  • Support site operations by advising on safe lifting and material handling practices .  

  • Provide technical guidance and safety awareness training to operators and maintenance teams.  

  • Ensure adherence to OSHA, EU directives, and local safety regulations .  

Qualifications & Requirements  

  • OSHA Certified Crane Inspector (mandatory).  

  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience inspecting and certifying cranes and MHE.  

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and lifting equipment safety regulations.  

  • Familiarity with slings, rigging, lifting devices, and accessories inspection .  

  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, load charts, and engineering documentation.  

  • Strong reporting and documentation skills.  

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written ).
