Customer Service Representative (Flexible Hours) Location Montezuma, IA :

As a Customer Service Representative , you will be the voice of our brand, ensuring professionalism and a positive, lasting impression. Shifts Available (Saturday shifts performed remotely):

• Primary Shift : Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday (variable hours for flexibility)
• Alternative Shifts : Choose from three 10-hour days or two 10-hour days plus two 5-hour days. Flexibility is key as long as Friday, Saturday, and Monday are covered.

What You Will Do

• Handle 75+ inbound calls daily and engage with customers via chat, email, and fax
• Address customer queries about pricing, inventory, deliveries, and manage returns or exchanges
• Promote special products and apply industry regulations
• Collaborate across departments and update customer information in the database
• Support special projects as assigned

What You Will Need

• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year experience in a call center or related customer service role
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Teams within 60 days
• Familiar with various web-based programs, to be mastered within 60 days
• Competent with desktop computer skills, especially multitasking across multiple screens and programs
• Able to type 45+ words per minute
• Basic knowledge of Brownells products and website is beneficial

Remote Technical/Broadband Requirements

• Minimum 3Mbps download, 1.5Mbps upload and ping time less than 30 ms
• Preferred 10Mbps download, 5Mbps upload and ping time less than 30 ms
