Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer Job Description As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for all cyber security related tasks on both the product and infrastructure sides. You will enhance existing security measures and work full-time to scale and adapt as threats evolve. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and industry standards, you will collaborate with IT and product teams to integrate new features. Your role will also include scripting to automate processes and setting up SIEM/SOAR systems. Essential Skills + 4 years of experience in cybersecurity across products and digital infrastructure. + Experience in operational implementation of security policies. + Strong expertise in firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection. + Proficiency with SIEM tools like Splunk, QRadar, or Sentinel. + Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. + Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell. + Understanding of OWASP standards and Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems strongly preferred. + Experience in engineering or manufacturing. + Certifications like CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+ are desirable. + Knowledge of ITAR/Export Control regulations. Work Environment Initially, this role will be on-site remote, with the potential for a hybrid arrangement over time. This position offers a unique opportunity to be the main cyber security expert within the company and to contribute significantly to new security initiatives. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42.07 - $81.63/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
