Robert Half is assisting an innovative client in the biotech industry, located in San Diego, CA, in hiring a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist. This position is critical to ensuring the accuracy and organization of essential data, supporting key initiatives within a dynamic and cutting-edge biotech environment.
Responsibilities:
+ Data Entry Accuracy: Input, validate, and maintain data in company systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness
+ Data Integrity: Perform regular audits to identify and correct discrepancies in records, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards
+ Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including research, development, and operations, to provide accurate data reports when needed
+ System Optimization: Support system updates and process improvements to increase data workflow efficiency
+ Administrative Support: Assist with clerical tasks such as document preparation, filing, and database organization
Requirements
+ Experience: 2+ years of data entry or administrative experience, ideally in biotech, healthcare, or a technology-driven sector
+ Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP, CRM, or biotech-specific database tools is a plus
+ Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of data efficiently
+ Education: An associate degree in business, administration, or a related field preferred; familiarity with biotech terminology is a strong advantage
+ Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
