HAVEN is a Chicago-based home staging company specializing in home staging furniture rental. Female-owned & run since 2009. • Seeking a full-time design coordinator/staging associate • Interior design, styling, or related experience required • Client-based experience required • Reliable car required • Residence in the city of Chicago is required • We are looking for a minimum one-year commitment We always have opportunities to move up and increase your income as the company grows. Responsibilities: • Project prep design (review project notes & client needs - pull appropriate furniture & accessories based on current inventory) • Pack accessories and soft goods for projects • Install staging projects (assist in starting, then responsible for the process end-to-end) • Pack staging projects for removal • Manage movers on-site at projects • Assist in warehouse maintenance, including unpacking and organizing • Compensation starting at $20, depending on experience Qualifications: The ideal candidate: • Has prior interior design or styling experience • Is invested in their job. We are looking for a minimum one-year commitment • Has client-based experience; is comfortable speaking with clients • Proactively communicates internally to the team and externally to clients • Enjoys working independently; highly developed executive functioning skills - are you organized and detail-oriented? Can you manage your time? • Cares about their work end-to-end, e.g., comfortable with the menial tasks that come hand-in-hand with the ‘glamour’ of staging design • Is collaborative, interested in training, and open to feedback • Is solution-oriented; are you a problem solver? • Is high-energy; this is a physical role that involves a lot of standing, moving, and carrying items • Is Chicago-based (not the suburbs) • Has a reliable vehicle for daily travel to and from the warehouse and project sites (will need to transport some inventory and packing materials in your own vehicle) About Company: HAVEN is a Chicago-based home staging company specializing in home staging furniture rental.
