Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Application Security Engineer to join our security team. In this role, you will work closely with developers, DevOps, and security teams to ensure our applications are secure by design and resilient against threats. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing the software development lifecycle (SDLC), performing code reviews, managing security tools, and championing secure coding practices. Key Responsibilities: Integrate security throughout the SDLC, including requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment stages. Perform manual and automated code reviews to identify security vulnerabilities. Conduct application penetration testing and threat modeling. Identify, triage, and remediate security flaws in web, mobile, and cloud-native applications. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure coding best practices. Evaluate and implement security tools for static and dynamic analysis (SAST, DAST, SCA). Develop and maintain security guidelines, documentation, and training for development teams. Monitor vulnerabilities (e.g., CVEs) and respond to emerging threats. Work with DevOps to implement security checks in CI/CD pipelines. Participate in incident response and root cause analysis of security issues.
