Digital Marketing Coordinator

Based out of Newport Beach, CA
(this is a remote position)

Overview: 
NEP Services is a tech and communications firm that specializes in providing unions strategic communications and member engagement resources to help them build their brand and power.

We are looking for a fully remote, proactive, task-oriented, Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team of strategic union communicators and support our marketing department. The ideal candidate will manage social media channels, create and optimize email campaigns, engage with online communities through our social accounts, and track performance metrics. 

They should have basic HTML/CSS skills, be comfortable with Google Analytics, and demonstrate proficiency with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (preferred), else Canva. Familiarity with HubSpot (or willingness to learn) is also important for managing workflows and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Social Media Management 
    • Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.). 
    • Monitor social channels for feedback, mentions, and trends to improve engagement. 
    • Proactively engage with relevant online communities and partner accounts to increase visibility. 
    • Maintain consistent brand messaging and tone. 
  2. Email Marketing 
    • Create and deploy email campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp or HubSpot. 
    • Utilize basic HTML/CSS to customize and troubleshoot email templates. 
    • Segment and manage mailing lists; track campaign metrics like open rates, click- through rates (CTR), and conversions. 
  3. Creative Asset Development 
    • Design marketing materials and graphics using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure visual and written content aligns with the brand identity. 
  4. Analytics & Reporting 
    • Track and analyze digital campaign performance using Google Analytics (and other reporting tools). 
    • Prepare regular reports and provide insights to optimize campaigns. 
    • Interpret marketing metrics (impressions, CTR, conversions, etc.) and make actionable recommendations. 
  5. Project Coordination
    • Manage project timelines, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule. 
    • Work closely with sales, design, and other teams to align marketing objectives. 
    • Maintain a content and campaign calendar to keep all stakeholders informed. 
    • Proficiency in HubSpot and Monday / Project management 
  6. General Marketing Support 
    • Conduct competitor research and stay informed on industry best practices. 
    • Assist in copywriting for social media posts, newsletters, and other marketing collateral. 
    • Provide additional support on special projects as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience 
    • At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, or related roles.
    • Technical Proficiency 
    • Familiarity with major social media platforms and their unique nuances. 
    • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot); basic HTML/CSS skills. 
    • Proficiency with preferably Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, 
    • InDesign), else Canva could suffice. 
    • Working knowledge of Google Analytics for data tracking and reporting. 
    • HubSpot proficiency or a willingness to learn is highly preferred. 
  • Marketing Knowledge 
    • Understanding of core digital marketing metrics (impressions, CTR, conversions, etc.). 
    • Ability to translate campaign data into actionable insights. 
  • Soft Skills 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
    • Detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent task management capabilities. 
    • Collaborative mindset; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Starting pay is 57k annually. Health and vision insurance provided.
