This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and inspirational leader to shape the future of Music, Drama, and Dance within a world-class international school setting. You will lead a talented and passionate team of educators across the school (Years 1–13), ensuring that the Performing Arts are central to their holistic educational philosophy and remain a vital, visible, and celebrated part of school life.

About the school:

- Support and develop a strong team of specialist teachers, providing professional development and mentoring.

- Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team to align arts education with the school’s strategic goals.

- Engage with parents and the wider community to promote and celebrate student achievement in the arts.

The Ideal Candidate

* A qualified teacher with a strong background in Music, Drama, or a related discipline.

* Proven leadership experience in a performing arts context, ideally in an international or high-performing school.

* In-depth knowledge of international curricula such as the IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme.

* A track record of producing or directing large-scale performances and developing co-curricular arts programmes.

* Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

* A collaborative, forward-thinking leader with a passion for nurturing student talent and creativity.

Why Join the School?

* Work in a high-achieving, supportive, and internationally-minded school community.

* Lead one of the most vibrant Performing Arts departments in Asia.

* Competitive salary and benefits package, including housing allowance, medical insurance, annual flights, and tuition for dependents.

* Professional development opportunities across the school International network.

* Live and work in the cultural heart of China’s capital — a dynamic global city offering rich opportunities for travel, the arts, and adventure.

Our client is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all the students in their care and expects all applicants to share this commitment.
