Summary

Early Learner Instructional Assistant

Blessed Sacrament Huguenot is seeking an enthusiastic Instructional Assistant who will assist with providing care, supervision, and learning activities to children in a preschool environment.
Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in imparting classroom instruction based on predefined curriculum
• Ensure development of positive relationships with students with a view to promote self-esteem and self- discipline
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
• Assist the lead teacher in ensuring the physical, social, cognitive and educational excellence of children
• Must demonstrate success in working as a member of a team

Qualifications
A minimum of High School Diploma with relevant, proven experience working with preschool aged children. CDA or Associates Degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood preferred.
