Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an EDM music promoter and/or DJ. This dual role requires a deep passion for electronic dance music (EDM), a solid understanding of the EDM scene, and exceptional skills in music curation and event promotion.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for actively promoting events and building a thriving community around our brand and the EDM scene as a whole.

Responsibilities:

Promote Events and Build Community:

• Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract attendees.
• Utilize social media to promote upcoming events and engage with potential attendees.
• Collaborate with event coordinators and the marketing team.
• Create promotional content such as graphics and social media posts.
• Cultivate a strong online presence and foster brand loyalty.

Network and Collaborate:

• Build and maintain relationships with other artists and industry professionals to expand your network and explore collaboration opportunities.
• Attend EDM events, conferences, and workshops for networking.
• Seek out partnerships to introduce your music to new audiences.

Logistics and Management:

• Manage equipment setup and ensure sound quality.
• Collaborate with event organizers, promoters, and sound engineers.
• Oversee event logistics and assist with talent booking as needed.

Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of the EDM scene, including different genres, artists, and trends.
• Proficiency in DJ software and hardware, along with experience using mixing equipment and sound systems.
• Strong social media presence and experience in online promotion and community engagement.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Compensation: Commission-only. 50% of net ticket revenue per event (after venue and processing fees). No base pay. No candidate fees. Payment within 10 calendar days after the event.
