EHS Manager | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $79,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct EHS risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for EHS incidents.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all levels of employees.
• Manage environmental permits, hazardous waste, and sustainability initiatives.
• Oversee emergency preparedness and response planning.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive EHS programs and management systems.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving EHS performance improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience integrating EHS into Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives.
• Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) or specialized expertise in chemical management.
• Demonstrated success in managing EHS programs across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Expertise in industrial ergonomics program development and implementation.
