Job Description

We’re looking for an Electrical Designer to join a growing team focused on delivering high-quality MEP design solutions for commercial building projects. This role involves producing electrical layouts, low voltage systems, and BIM coordination to ensure safe and efficient designs. The ideal candidate combines technical precision with strong collaboration skills and a solid understanding of construction practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop electrical drawings and layouts for commercial and MEP projects using Revit and AutoCAD.
  
• Perform system coordination within BIM environments to ensure accuracy across disciplines.
  
• Support low voltage and power distribution design, including lighting and outlet placement.
  
• Assist in performing arc flash studies and incorporating findings into design documents.
  
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to deliver fully coordinated electrical designs.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
  
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design for commercial or MEP projects.
  
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD required; BIM coordination experience strongly preferred.
  
• Understanding of low voltage design and building power distribution systems.
  
• Familiarity with arc flash safety principles and industry best practices.
  
• Strong knowledge of construction documentation and electrical standards.
  
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
