A skilled and experienced ER Registered Nurse is needed for a fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate will be able to respond quickly to critical situations, provide high-quality patient care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients in urgent and emergent conditions.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform rapid assessments and triage for incoming emergency patients.
Provide care for acute illnesses, trauma, critical injuries, and medical emergencies.
Administer medications, start IVs, perform wound care, and support life-saving interventions.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to carry out treatment plans.
Operate and monitor medical equipment (EKG, cardiac monitors, ventilators, etc.).
Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
Maintain patient safety and follow all emergency department protocols.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York (or compact state eligible).
Minimum 1–2 years of recent ER nursing experience required.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (TNCC preferred).
Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and crisis management abilities.
Ability to work independently on night shifts in a high-volume ER setting.
