Our team is passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology and artistry, and we’re looking for an Environment Artist to help us push the technical and visual boundaries of our landscapes.

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Environment Artist with a strong background in Unreal Engine 5. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in 3D modeling and texturing, as well as an understanding of Unreal Engine’s material and lighting systems. This role is ideal for someone who can independently deliver high-quality work in Unreal Engine while supporting junior teammates. You’ll play a key part in producing real-time architectural visualizations and interactive sales center applications, while continuing to grow toward a senior role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and refine 3D assets and environments for interactive real estate and architectural projects.
• Independently manage assigned tasks from start to finish, delivering polished results.
• Support junior artists by providing mentorship and workflow guidance.
• Collaborate closely with senior team members and project managers.
• Contribute to internal reviews and occasionally present work to clients
• Unreal Engine Environment Art. (3D Modeling, Asset Creation, Set Dressing, Advanced Materials, Lighting)
• Optimize assets and scenes for performance in real-time applications.
• Work with Art Lead and other artists to maintain visual consistency and quality.
• Pioneer new asset creation techniques for environment assets.
• Keep up with current technologies used in Unreal Engine and by various game engines.

Qualifications:

• Experience as an Environment Artist or similar role.
• Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 and modeling software, including Foliage, Landscapes, Materials, & Lighting.
• Experience with 3D modeling and texturing software (e.g., Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently on production tasks.
• Experience mentoring or guiding less experienced teammates.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
• Experience with architectural visualization (archviz) is strongly preferred.
• A collaborative, team-focused mindset.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in CG for AEC or Enterprise related industries
• UE 5 Blueprints, UMG, or MRQ experience.
• Foliage creation (Speedtree, TreeIT)
• Houdini Experience

Additional Requirements

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• This position is based in Sarasota, FL; candidates who can work onsite or relocate are preferred. Exceptional remote candidates based in the U.S. will also be considered.
