Tutor Doctor is a locally owned and operated tutoring company that has been proudly serving New Jersey families for over 11 years. We provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring and academic coaching to students in-person in the Ridgewood, NJ and surrounding areas. We're seeking compassionate, motivated Executive Skills Coaches to support students in developing key learning skills such as time management, organization, planning, task initiation, and self-monitoring. As an Executive Skills Coach, you will act as a mentor and accountability partner, helping students build habits that will serve them well throughout school and life. This is more than tutoring—it’s coaching for life success. Responsibilities

• Coach students one-on-one in areas such as: time management, organization, prioritization, goal setting, study routines, etc.
• Get certified in our Tutor Doctor X-Skills Program
• Build strong relationships with students and families
• Provide regular progress updates and session report notes
• Commit to and schedule consistent, ongoing weekly sessions with students

Qualifications

• Experience in education, coaching, mentoring, counseling, or youth development
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Patience, empathy, and a student-centered mindset
• Organized, reliable, and consistent
• Ability to motivate and engage students
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (Education, Psychology, or related field a plus)
• Familiarity with executive function coaching or academic coaching is a plus
• Located within 15 miles of Ridgewood, NJ area
