Job Description

Patient Assessment & Diagnosis:

• Conduct physical exams, review medical histories, and interpret laboratory and X-ray results to diagnose a wide range of health conditions.

Treatment Planning & Management:

• Develop comprehensive care plans, initiate and manage treatments, and prescribe medications.

Patient Education & Counseling:

• Provide counseling and health education to patients and their families, emphasizing disease prevention and wellness.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to coordinate patient care.

Administrative Tasks:

• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical record (EHR) systems and complete necessary reports and forms.

Professional Development:

• Stay current with the latest advancements in medicine and healthcare to ensure evidence-based practice. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Advanced Nursing Degree: A Master's (MSN) or Doctoral (DNP) degree in nursing.
• Board Certification: Certification in a nursing specialty, such as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
• Active Nursing License: A current, active, and unencumbered nursing license.
• Clinical Expertise: Strong health assessment, diagnostic, and clinical skills.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to use electronic health records and other healthcare technology.
• Empathy & Compassion: Displaying a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Professional Conduct: Adhering to ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.
