Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in the Richmond, VA region. The primary responsibilities of this role include servicing fire alarm systems and handling small installations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and service on fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm system issues.
• Conduct small installations and upgrades of fire alarm systems.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Provide detailed documentation of service and installation activities.
• Collaborate with clients to address their fire alarm system needs and concerns.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in fire alarm technology and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire alarm system service and installation.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and local fire safety regulations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• NICET certification is a plus but not required.
• Experience with systems including but not limited to Silent Knight, EST, Notifier, Honeywell, Bosch, Firelite, and more.
