The Company: Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community is a non-profit organization in Escondido that opened in 2009 with the mission to "honor God by serving others with love and compassion." We are licensed as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) and offer independent, assisted living services, memory care, and skilled nursing services. (Note: Because Meadowbrook is a licensed retirement community, employees may not accept tips, but residents are able to contribute to an appreciation fund that is distributed as a an employee bonus.) Shift Availability: Part-time, 6 to 28 hours per week. The dining room is closed on Sundays. Specific schedule to be discussed in interview. Lunch shift: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Dinner shift: 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm Job Description: We're looking for a friendly and responsible individual to join our dining team in providing accurate and cheerful service to our residents and their guests. We offer delivery and dine-in services for lunch and dinner. Many residents look forward not only to the food but also to the social aspect of eating in the dining room, and our food servers are an integral part of a meaningful experience for them. This is a great opportunity for people who like to build a relationship with their customers as most patrons are regulars.
