Job Description

Luther Family Ford is searching for a light duty vehicle technician to join our Service Department as a Mobile Service Technician. This position is responsible for performing Ford Recalls and light duty vehicle service repairs remotely, at the guests preferred place of business. All training provided.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Customer service
• Complete vehicle repairs using appropriate tools and OEM instructions.
• Perform mobile PM (Maintenance) Services.
• Provide support for the customer and answer questions.
• Order parts necessary for field repairs.
• Test drive vehicles to confirm complaint and/or repair.
• Maintain responsibility for minimal parts inventory.
• Maintain tool organization and maintenance on tools and equipment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mechanical experience in the automotive industry preferred. but will train the right candidate.
• Commitment to Luther Family Ford company philosophy regarding customer service.
• Ability to work independently without supervision at customer location.
• Positive and helpful attitude towards vendors, guests, and fellow employees.
• Well organized, attentive to detail, and efficient with time.
• Possess a willingness and ability to learn.
• Good communication skills including email, text, phone.
• Customer service skills for face-to-face contact with customers.
• Able to describe in written reports the mechanical and diagnostic work performed.
• Strong computer experience with email programs, internet browsers, and Windows-based programs.
• Clean and care for a service vehicle, tools, parts inventory, and equipment.
