Job Description

Position Title: General Dentist.

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Specialty: General Dentistry.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and detail-oriented General Dentist to join our growing practice. In this role, you’ll provide exceptional patient care by diagnosing and treating a wide range of oral health concerns. From preventive care to restorative and surgical procedures, you’ll play a key role in helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
  • Diagnose and treat cavities, cracked or fractured teeth, and other oral diseases.
  • Perform procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and restorative treatments.
  • Administer local anesthetics and sedation as required.
  • Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
  • Design and fit dental appliances and treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications for infection control and pain management.
  • Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
  • Provide post-treatment education and answer patient questions.
  • Maintain compliance with all ADA, state, and office protocols.

Qualifications:

  • D.D.S. or D.M.D. from a CODA-accredited dental school.
  • Current state dental license.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong diagnostic, clinical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Compliance with all office, state, and ADA regulations.
  • Experience in a Medicaid office setting preferred.
