Ghost Hunt Guide

Step into the world of the unknown! Do you thrive on creating thrilling experiences for others? We’re looking for a Ghost Hunt Guide to lead guests through a spine-tingling haunted experience at Brickhouse Inn . If you’re comfortable in dark, spooky environments and enjoy helping people get the most out of their paranormal investigations, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

• Guide groups of guests through various rooms and areas of the property during the ghost hunt
• Distribute and assist with ghost-hunting equipment (EMF meters, spirit boxes, infrared cameras, etc.)
• Ensure that guests safely navigate the property while providing basic guidance on how to use the equipment
• Maintain a spooky atmosphere and help build the immersive experience
• Monitor group dynamics and ensure the safety and comfort of guests throughout the experience
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment and making sure it’s functioning properly during the event

Requirements:

• Comfortable working in dimly lit, eerie environments
• Able to guide guests through the property in an organized and professional manner
• Basic understanding of ghost hunting equipment (training will be provided)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be available to work late evenings, weekends, and during peak times (such as Halloween season)
• Previous experience in guiding, event staff roles, or customer-facing roles is a plus, but not required

• Calm and collected under pressure, able to manage a group of guests in a spooky environment
• Friendly and approachable, able to assist guests and create a fun, eerie atmosphere
• Enjoys engaging with guests and creating a memorable experience
• Able to keep a steady pace while maintaining suspense and excitement

Location: Brickhouse Inn, Gettysburg
Duration of the tour: 2 hours 

Time: 9 pm to 11 pm
Compensation: $50 per tour
