RSC Landscaping and the Garden Center is a premier provider of top-notch landscaping services, renowned for our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in maintaining the pristine condition of our grounds, ensuring they remain beautiful and inviting for our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of RSC Landscaping and the Garden Center by removing trash, debris, and other waste items.
• Operate maintenance equipment such as shovels, rakes, and backpack sprayers to complete tasks efficiently.
• Utilize power equipment for janitorial and general maintenance purposes.
• Ensure the upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots, including snow removal when necessary.
• Perform general repairs and routine maintenance on building systems as needed.
• Assist with the upkeep of facilities and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Physical capability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, stretching, bending, climbing ladders, kneeling, and pulling for prolonged periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
• Team player with a dependable attendance record.
• Valid driver's license required.
