Job Description

Salary: $31,200 - 62,400 per year Requirements:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required, along with experience in a hotel or related field.
  • At least one year of advancing experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours may be necessary at times.
  • Physical demands include exerting over 100 pounds of force occasionally, over 50 pounds frequently, and over 20 pounds regularly.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • The ability to actively listen, understand, and clarify concerns raised by employees and guests is necessary.
  • Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing departmental tasks to meet deadlines is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct room inspections and identify necessary repairs.
  • Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
  • Paint designated areas and items as needed.
  • Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, including switches, receptacles, and light bulbs.
  • Repair furniture and associated items.
  • Install, replace, and program televisions.
  • Perform minor plumbing tasks.
  • Replace and repair heating and cooling pumps, as well as conduct preventative maintenance on units.
  • Trace and repair all types of water lines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain records of repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and federal codes.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and strive to enhance departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Practice safe work habits by wearing protective safety equipment and complying with MSDS and OSHA standards.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction is achieved.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.
