POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team, ensuring all properties are exceptionally clean, properly appointed, and guest-ready. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop housekeeping staff, including supervisors, to enhance team skills, performance, and efficiency
  • Develop and implement structured training programs to ensure consistent onboarding, skill development, and service standards
  • Create and manage cleaning schedules to ensure timely turnovers and optimal staffing
  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed to Aspen Vacations’ quality standards
  • Motivate the team through recognition and accountability, addressing performance issues when necessary
  • Conduct regular property inspections to uphold cleanliness and presentation standards, promptly addressing any deficiencies
  • Monitor and manage inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment, proactively sourcing and replenishing as needed
  • Perform inventory checks to verify household items and amenities are in place, in excellent condition, and replaced as needed
  • Implement and uphold cleaning protocols that ensure consistency, safety, and sanitation across all properties
  • Ensure prompt reporting of maintenance issues and follow up to confirm timely resolution
  • Coordinate with guest services and operations teams for seamless arrivals, departures, special requests, and deliveries
  • Respond proactively to guest and owner requests, resolving issues with professionalism and urgency
  • Accurately bill owners for additional housekeeping services and replacement items
  • Participate in leadership meetings, contributing insights and recommendations to improve operations and guest experience
  • Communicate professionally with owners and guests to understand preferences, resolve concerns, and build trust
  • Foster open communication and a positive team culture focused on continuous improvement

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of housekeeping management experience in high-end vacation rentals, luxury hotels, or resorts
  • Deep understanding of luxury service standards and guest expectations
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, especially under pressure
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and housekeeping/property management software
  • Proven success managing and training a housekeeping team to 5-star standards
  • Experience recruiting, onboarding, and conducting staff evaluations
  • Experience developing and implementing training programs
  • Vendor management experience (suppliers, laundry services, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with guests, owners, vendors, and staff
  • Ability to create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Budgeting and cost control experience for housekeeping operations
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the waist
  • Regularly push, pull, and lift objects up to 25 pounds
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
  • Prolonged periods of desk work and computer use

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $80,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
