**Job Title: Mechatronics & Robotics Technician** **Location: Erlanger, KY** **Amazon Distribution Center- largest Air-transport location in the country!!** **Pay: $32/hr** **2-2-3 schedule likely a night shift but must be open to days or nights 6pm-6:15am -** Work every other weekend **10-year** **background** **check & post-offer drug test required** **Job Description** As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will utilize your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the facility. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. Additionally, you will mentor junior technicians to advance in their roles. **Responsibilities** + Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Robotics, Automation equipment and Pneumatic Systems. + Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. + Mentor junior technicians. + Supervise maintenance of material handling equipment, sorters, and robotics. + Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. + Manage risks and maintain safety standards. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in maintenance management and preventative maintenance planning. + Experience in conveyor maintenance, automation, and control systems. + Ability to analyze data and manage projects. + Knowledge of Six Sigma and CMMS. + Experience in repairing material handling equipment, automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment for over 2 years. + Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. + Demonstrating safety standards for over 2 years. + Experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment for over 1 year. + High school or equivalent diploma. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications. + Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy competitive compensation packages that include comprehensive healthcare benefits from Day 1, a matching 401(k) program, and up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
