Job Title: Interim Collections Manager
Location: Remote (Company based in Salt Lake City, UT)
Duration: Temporary / Contract, 2-5 months

Job Description:
One of our clients in the software space is seeking an experienced Interim Collections Manager to lead and support a small team of collectors focused on resolving approximately 1,500 past-due customer accounts. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organization, and process improvement skills to help streamline collections efforts and recover outstanding receivables efficiently.

Interim Collections Manager Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a small team of collectors handling delinquent accounts.
• Develop and execute short-term strategies to bring accounts current and improve cash flow.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching to ensure collection goals are met.
• Oversee skip tracing, payment arrangements, and escalation processes as needed.
• Collaborate with finance, customer success, and billing teams to resolve account discrepancies and improve collection workflows.

Interim Collections Manager Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in B2C or B2B collections, at least 2 in collections people management
• Proven success managing high-volume past-due accounts and team performance.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Compensation: $33.00 – $57.00/hr
